Transferring Refills to a new Pharmacy
It is up to you to decide if you want to transfer your refills to another pharmacy to get a better price on your medication. To do so, you may take your medication bottle to the pharmacy of your choice and ask them to contact the prior pharmacy to transfer the prescription. Or you may contact your doctor and ask him or her to call in the refill to the new pharmacy. Alternatively, you can ask the prior pharmacy to match the price of the new pharmacy or have them transfer the prescription. Note: Most pharmacies will match a competitors retail prices only.
